~ Marching to Spring ~
This month brings another installment of "Not That, This", Stress and Sleep edition. Here in the Midwest the days are getting longer. We have also recently enjoyed a week of 'false spring' with temps in the 60's! As we march toward days which can make it easier to implement better routines such as getting outdoors and moving (often also leading to better sleep), I thought I would share a few alternatives in the meantime to some of the things we may think of first during times of stress or insomnia.

Our lives can be fast-paced and over-scheduled, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and stressed. Rather than OTC products with less desirable ingredients, reach for a homeopathic combination for relief instead.

Attention students: Is the stress of mid-terms and late night study sessions turning your brain to mush? Instead of propping yourself up with coffee, synthetic vitamins, or worse, try a homeopathic remedy that can help calm your overwhelmed central nervous system naturally.

Are worries and stress causing you to lose much needed restful sleep? Don't rely on a melatonin product to help, instead reach for a homeopathic combo medicine that doesn't have negative health effects or include questionable ingredients.

Did you know that there are alternatives to psychotropic medications such as SSRI's and Anxiolytics? If getting support for mental health issues without the side effects and dependence on synthetic medical products sounds too good to be true, read on!
When dealing with more serious mental health issues, it is imperative to work with a trained homeopath who can tailor homeopathic medicine recommendations to an individual's symptoms and needs. Contact me if you need help finding the right practitioner!

What are the benefits for joining one of my Study Groups?
As one of Joette's Discovery Ambassadors, I have exclusive access to introductory videos she recorded for each lesson when she launched the 2nd edition of Gateway to Practical Homeopathy I. We view these at the beginning of each lesson.
I offer a discounted fee for my Study Groups when you register for both Gateway I and II. Please contact me for the coupon code.
Once you have taken a Gateway class with me you have lifetime access to return for that class as often as you like free of charge.
I have a private Signal chat group for my past and current study group members so we can help each other with homeopathic questions, remedies, etc. My students find this to be one of the more valuable 'perks'!
As a Discovery Ambassador I am able to offer my students special discounted pricing off Joette's protocol courses.
I offer a 10% discount on my consultation services to past and current students, though in the interest of full disclosure, I am not taking on any new clients at this time.
Success Story Spotlight
'Jerry' is in his early 80's and has worked hard his whole life, whether on his family's farm as a kid, in the military during the Vietnam War, or in the decades he worked in a factory. He has dealt with pain in some shape or form for many years, but recently pain he was experiencing in his hip and down into his knee had become unbearable to the point he went to the hospital one Saturday to try to get some relief.
Several tests revealed a variety of concerns, none of which were causing his pain; however, Jerry was admitted into the hospital due to some of the other issues. While he was there they put him on oxycodone, a strong habit-forming opioid, to help him stay as comfortable as possible. A few days later he went home, but I was determined to help Jerry manage the pain without a narcotic drug. In the past I had recommended Hypericum perforatum 200c to him when pain would rear its head, but the results were mixed. A man of few words, it was difficult to determine whether the Hypericum had helped at all.
Due to the way Jerry described this most recent pain and the fact that hospital X-rays had shown he had two compressed vertebrae which were causing a bulging disc, I thought Hypericum would be an excellent choice. However, given the pain level and need for oxycondone to keep the pain under control, I recommended 10M to be taken a few times each day as needed for pain. Within just a few days of being home, Jerry was able to stop the prescription entirely and keep his pain under control.
At a follow up with a neurosurgeon last week they were astounded that Jerry reported his pain did not get much higher than a 3 on a 1-10 scale and that he was no longer taking oxycodone. When they asked him what he was doing for treatment, he said he was using a homeopathic remedy called Hypericum to which they replied there didn't seem to be any need to send him to the Pain Clinic (i.e. inject steroids) or consider surgery at this time.
I'd call that a win no matter how you look at it!
